Police are investigating the unexplained death of a
middle-aged Bulls woman.
The woman was discovered mid-morning at a residential
property by a family member who notified emergency services.
Manawatu Police Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Sheridan said
the death was being treated as unexplained.
"Our priorities are to determine if there are any suspicious
circumstances around the woman's death and speak to and
support her family."
Police and Environmental Science and Research staff were
conducting a scene examination at the property and officers
were in the process of speaking to those close to the woman,
Mr Sheridan said.
"A post-mortem will be undertaken and at this stage we are
keeping an open mind and treating the woman's death as

formally identified, he said.
