A 28-year-old man is in a critical condition after a car collided with a motorbike near Rotorua last night.
The Rotorua-based BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Murupara, 55km south-east of Rotorua, about 8.15pm to provide treatment to a man after the collision on the outskirts of the town, helicopter staff said in a statement.
The Rotorua man was airlifted to Rotorua Hospital in a critical condition with multiple injuries.
