There has been a serious crash in Rotorua involving a car and two motorcycles.
Police Northern Communications Inspector Andy Brill said the incident happened about 2.45pm today at the intersection of State Highway 30 and 33.
He said one motorcycle rider has been taken to Rotorua Hospital in a serious condition.
Emergency services are still at the scene with the northbound lane of State Highway 33 closed.
Mr Brill said traffic delays could be expected.
