A man who died in a car crash in Northland on Saturday has named by police.
Zijian Peng of Ruakaka, 22, died in the crash on State Highway 1 at Kaiwaka about 1am, Senior Sergeant Chris Money said.
Mr Peng was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
No other vehicles were involved, police said.
