Police are investigating the death of a 6-month-old baby in Hastings.
Police and ambulance services were called to the Mayfair house about 9am today and found the unresponsive baby, Detective Sergeant Darren Pritchard said.
Attempts were made to revive the baby but they were unsuccessful, Mr Pritchard said.
It is unknown how the baby died and the matter is under investigation, police said.
