An intellectually disabled 13-year-old girl who was missing overnight has been found safe and well in central Hamilton, police say.
Ruth Shortland went missing from her Silkwood Lane home in Melville about 7pm yesterday.
Police said they had serious concerns for her safety because she had an intellectual age of an 8-year-old.
But she was found fit and well today and was and being reunited with her family, police said.
