Hokitika ticket wins $2 million

While the country lost an hour overnight, one lucky Lotto player will gain $2 million into their bank account after winning Lotto First Division.

The winning ticket was sold at Fitzherbert St Four Square in Hokitika, a Lotto spokeswoman said.

Powerball was not struck and had now jackpotted to $6 million.

Strike Four also jackpotted and would be worth $400,000 in next week's draw, the spokeswoman said.

Meanwhile, Anne from Christchurch spun the Winning Wheel and won $200,000 last night.

The latest Winning Wheel serial number was 295-17734495-20XX. The winning ticket was sold in Wellington.
