An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to the body found in a Huntly backyard yesterday evening.
The man has been charged with murder and will be appearing in the Hamilton District Court tomorrow morning.
Earlier reports indicated the death could have been the result of gang tensions, but police have refused to confirm the death was gang-related.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Whitehead said the exact events were still unclear.
