Police have cordoned off a block of offices in west Auckland after a suspicious death last night.

Police were guarding the scene at Westech Place in Kelston while police investigate the death.

A second man found injured at the property was taken to Waitakere Hospital in a moderate condition, according to ambulance staff.

He would be spoken to by police later.

Employees at neighbouring offices in the industrial area, which include a large Spotless premises, were being spoken to by police.

"This investigation is still in its very early stages" said Detective Inspector Bruce Scott of Waitemata police.

"We are in the process of gathering evidence at the scene and are very keen to speak with anyone who believes they may have information relating to the case".
