Two people were airlifted to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition after a car crash near Kaikoura yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the crash on State Highway 1 at Goose Bay, south of Kaikoura at 6.20pm yesterday, a St John spokesman said.
Two other people were taken by ambulance to Kaikoura Hospital in a moderate condition, the spokesman said.
