Warehouse worker held up at gunpoint

Police are investigating after a staff member from The Warehouse in Henderson was held up at gunpoint early this morning.

Police said a staff member who was leaving work was approached by two men in the carpark, about 12.30am.

One of the men was armed with a handgun, police said.

Police said the staff member was then forced to take the men into the office and open the safe.

The two men escaped with what police described as 'a quantity of cash', before fleeing in a silver sedan.

Police described one of the men as 165 cms tall and of medium to large build.

He was wearing a black hooded jumper with a red pattern on the front, a sleeveless orange vest with silver markings, black gloves and full length black pants, police said.

The Warehouse worker was not hurt in the incident, police said.
