One person has died following a head on crash between a truck and a car in the Bay of Plenty.
The crash happened at around 5:30pm this evening on State Highway 2 near near the intersection by Omokoroa Rd Whakamarama.
The highway is blocked as the truck and trailer is on its side. A crane is on route to right the vehicle.
State Highway 2 is closed and diversions are in place.
