A worker has been killed in an industrial incident at a facility south of Timaru tonight.
Police released few details about the incident, and said emergency services were called to the scene at 7.15pm.
"No details of the deceased person or the location of the incident will be released until the process to inform next of kin has been completed," police said.
A police incident into the investigation was under way. WorkSafe New Zealand has also been advised, police said.
