A vehicle has left the road and crashed down a bank in the Coromandel this morning.
A spokeswoman for the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust said helicopter crew were currently transferring a patient to Waikato Hospital.
The patient was reported to be in a serious condition, she said.
