Two hunters missing in the Kaimai Ranges have been found alive and well.
The pair made their way out to State Highway 29 where they were able to use their mobile phone to call family this morning.
Family members have picked them up and they are tired and cold but unhurt.
The men, aged 44 and 20, reportedly entered the bush from Whakamarama Rd about 4am yesterday and were due to return at 9am.
They called family at 11am to advise they were lost, just before it cut out.
