A 58-year-old man died this afternoon in a workplace fatality at Weston Rd, North Otago.
Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the scene, a machinery yard, at 4.26pm.
Police said one person died in the incident, which involved a truck.
They are working through the formal identification process and are notifying the next-of-kin.
