A pilot suffered a cut to one of his arms in a microlight crash at Mercer Airfield near Auckland today.
Colin Underdown, of Northern Fire Communications, said the crash was minor and the pilot was able to get out of the plane on his own.
"The pilot had a severe gash to his arm," he said.
"We've handed the patient over to ambulance."
