Firefighters cut a hypothermic woman from a car in Eastern Southland about 10pm last night.
A St John spokesman said a car rolled about 70m down a bank on Knowsley Park Rd in Ferndale, east of Mataura.
A woman, aged in her 50s, was trapped inside the car had sustained serious injuries and was hypothermic.
Firefighters cut the woman from the car.
The woman was taken to Gore Hospital by ambulance.
