A man has been arrested following an incident in the Kaimai Ranges this morning.
The Armed Offenders Squad were called to a rural property earlier today after police were threatened when trying to execute an arrest warrant.
The Fire Service also attended the incident after police discovered a small fire in one of the buildings on the property.
The matter was resolved without incident and occupants of the property are assisting police with their enquiries.
