Police are investigating a fire they are calling "suspicious" in Te Anau on Sunday morning.
The fire happened at about 4.30am at a property on Howden St.
Police want to talk to anyone who saw suspicious activity around the area at the time.
Those people, along with anyone with information which may be relevant, are asked to call Constable Mel Robertson of Winston police on 03 236 6060.
