Police have named the three people killed in a crash between Waikanae and Otaki on the weekend.
Thomas Priestly, 80, of Levin, and Helen Milne, 25, of Johnsonville, died at the scene of the head-on collision on State Highway 1 about 4.45pm on Sunday.
Mr Priestly's wife, 77-year-old Patricia Priestly, died hours later in Wellington Hospital.
The three were the only occupants of the vehicles.
