A world march for peace which will criss-cross the globe
during the next three moths started in Wellington today.
The 160,000km march, organised by the World Without Wars
organisation, will visit 90 countries in 90 days ending in
Argentina on January 2.
Lower Hutt mother-of-five Juanita McKenzie will be one of a
team of core marchers.
The march has been endorsed by figures in politics, sport and
entertainment, including the Dalai Lama, Yoko Ono and Lucy
Lawless.
