The Wellington region was jolted by an earthquake
measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale today.
GNS Science reported the quake, which hit at 8.09am, was
centred 10km northwest of Porirua at a depth of 50km.
The tremor would have been felt on the Kapiti Coast and in
the Wellington region, GNS said.
