The 2009/10 Antarctic summer season closed today with an
Australian Airbus A319 flight to Pegasus Runway.
An Antarctica New Zealand spokesman said that there had been
59 C-17 flights, seven RNZAF Hercules flights and two
successful trials of the RNZAF Boeing 757 during the season.
The next flight, a winter fly-in, will take place in
mid-August.
