A farmer who died when a bulldozer he was using went down a
bank into a gully has been named as Malcolm Alexander Squire,
from Tokomaru, 21km southeast of Palmerston North.
Mr Squire, 54, was using the bulldozer on his farm to carve
out a track and when he failed to return home as usual around
6pm yesterday family members went looking for him.
About 7.30pm they found Mr Squire and the bulldozer down a
gully and immediately called for emergency services.
