An earthquake of 4.3 on the Richter scale rippled across
Fiordland, Southland and Central Otago last night.
GNS Scienece said the tremor, at 9.22pm, was centred 40km
northwest of Te Anau at a depth of 70km.
The quake was felt in Kingston and was likely to have been
felt in Fiordland, Southland and parts of Central Otago, GNS
Science added.
