Hamilton's Andrew Stroud now has one round up his sleeve as
he raced his Suzuki to title No 9 at the fourth round of five
in this season's Castrol Power 1 New Zealand Superbike
Championships at Hampton Downs, near Meremere, on Sunday.
A defending champion, an injured three-time former champion,
rising young stars and a couple of first-timers ... this
season's national motorcycle road-race championships have it
all.
Hamilton's Andrew Stroud retained his lead in the New Zealand
Superbike series after yesterday's second round of races at
Invercargill but saw rival Robbie Bugden close in after a
controversial finish to the final race of the weekend today.
