If an election were held today, Labour would fancy its
chances of forming a government, according to a new poll.
The latest Fairfax Media-Ipsos has National on 44.9 per cent,
down points on the last poll in December.
Labour has climbed 1.9 points to 36.3 per cent.
With the Greens on 10.7 per cent, Labour and its allies would
be well positioned to form the next government.
No other parties are above the 5 per cent threshold.
A TVNZ/Colmar Brunton poll this week had National on 49 per
cent, with Labour on 33 per cent and the Greens on 11 per
cent.
