Green MP Julie Anne Genter
could be promoted on her party's list, according to a leaked
document, while two other Green MPs have fallen out of
Blogger David Farrar said he had been leaked an early version
of the list and published it on his website Kiwiblog this
A Greens spokesman said that no list existed yet and that the
process of ranking MPs did not begin for another two weeks.
An official list would still have to be drawn up by members
and final rankings would be decided in April.
Mr Farrar claimed that the leaked list was a draft that had
circulated among some party members.
It showed that Ms Genter, who entered Parliament in 2011 as
Greens' 13th-placed MP, had risen to 6th.
Earlier this week she was confirmed as the Greens' candidate
in the Epsom electorate.
Two male MPs have plummeted in the rankings and if the final
list remained the same, they could struggle to get back into
MP David Clendon, who is currently eighth on Greens' list,
fell to 17th. Steffan Browning, who is 10th on Greens' list,
fell to 16th.
Eugenie Sage and Denise Roche were promoted while Catherine
Delahunty and Kennedy Graham fell in the rankings.
Two candidates who are not in Parliament were given high
placings in the Kiwiblog list.
Marama Davidson, who represented Greens at the Ikaroa-Rawhiti
by-election, was placed at 11.
Nelson-based Aaryn Barlow, a project manager at the Nelson
Environment Centre, was promoted to 14th place.
