Mission of love

Bronnie Murphy, of Arrowtown, gets a Valentine's Day visit from ambulance officer Nikki McFadgen as part of an estimated 100 Renaissance Florist deliveries made by St John yesterday.

The white roses were from her husband, Gordon, and Mrs Murphy was both surprised and ecstatic.

"Oh boy, I'm overwhelmed, I forgot what day it was," she said.

ASB Remarkables branch manager Chris Clark, who was helping with deliveries said it was fun to see people's reactions when the ambulance pulled up.

"It gets people's hearts fluttering for all the right reasons," he said.
