A three-day resource consent hearing over a planned 18-lot
subdivision at Dalefield, near Arrowtown, will begin this
week.
Platinum Estates Ltd last year lodged a resource consent
application for the subdivision, which is intended to be
developed in four stages.
The public notification said consent was sought to subdivide
three proposed lots, ranging in size from 2.76ha to 74.4ha,
at the site, northwest and southeast of Littles Rd, near its
intersection with Fitzpatrick Rd.
The site is in the rural general zone. The proposed
subdivision would create 18 residential allotments for rural
living.
A land management and structural planting plan was proposed.
The application said Platinum Estates also proposed three
pastoral management lots, two access lots on to Littles Rd
and a "potential recreation reserve".
A pedestrian easement would enable public access over the
site.
The hearing begins on Wednesday afternoon, at the Crowne
Plaza.
