The second Subway Kids Duathlon comes to Lake Hayes tomorrow and local children are gearing up for the friendly event.
The four-event series began in Wanaka and will continue in Cromwell and Alexandra.
The Lake Hayes course has age categories ranging from under 6 up to 14 years old, as well as a race for parents.
MoreFM promotions manager Henry Youngman said there were some course changes from previous years.
"So it's going to be exciting for those who have competed in the past, and for the newbies the whole day will be a blast."
Mr Youngman said the event would begin at 10am.
Participants are encouraged to register by 9.30am. The race briefing will be held at the Lake Hayes pavilion from 9.45am.
