Woman caught in relation to a theft

• At 3pm on Tuesday, a 27-year-old Argentinian woman was dealt with in relation to a theft from a dwelling. Senior Constable Chris Blackford said because of circumstances he could not reveal, she was given a caution.

• At 12.30am on Wednesday, a 28-year-old "grossly intoxicated" Queenstown man went to the wrong apartment in Frankton Rd. After being told to leave by the occupants, he allegedly went to sleep on a bed, then "messed up" the bathroom and vomited on a floor. He was charged with unlawfully being on a property and will appear in the Queenstown District Court on August 13.

• At 8pm on Wednesday, two men, aged 23 and 22, were spoken to by police after they were reported shooting targets on the Frankton beach with a slug gun. Senior Constable Chris Blackford said the men were warned and given information about safe shooting.

• At 9.30pm on Wednesday, a 20-year-old Englishman was taken to the Queenstown police cells after he was found "so intoxicated that an ambulance had to be called".
