Drunken Australian arrested

• A 29-year-old Australian man was arrested because of his behaviour at a Queenstown holiday park at 3.20am on Wednesday. Sergeant Derek Ealson said the man was highly intoxicated and received a pre-charge warning.

• A 33-year-old man received a pre-charge warning after failing to leave a Queenstown premises when asked at 1.10am on Wednesday. Senior Constable Chris Blackford said the man left the building but, outside, refused to leave.

• At 1.40am on Thursday, a group of males were spoken to at a Queenstown casino because of their behaviour at the blackjack table. Inquiries are continuing.

• At 3am on Thursday, a 22-year-old Australian man received a cut eye after an alleged assault outside O'Connells Mall. Inquiries are continuing.
