Hilton Queenstown's spa, eforea: spa at Hilton, was named
Australasia's Best Hotel Spa at the 2012 Australasian Spa
Association (ASPA) Awards of Excellence gala dinner in Sydney
last month.
The awards are recognised as Australia and New Zealand's
leading awards for the spa industry.
Hilton Queenstown general manager Andrew Nisbet said he was
"extremely proud" eforea had been recognised and it was a
tribute to the team's dedication to deliver "outstanding
transformative spa experiences to global travellers".
The winners and finalists were selected following a rigorous
judging process, including a written award submission where
all category finalists were then appraised by an "anonymous
spa audit" by a leading industry representative.
The facilities flow over three levels and includes a
"transition lounge" for clients; a manicure and pedicure
suite; 10 treatment rooms, including two couples suits; a
"presidential spa suite" with a private balcony, ensuite
bathroom and hot tub; a 25m indoor heated pool; large hot
tub; fitness centre; saunas and steam rooms.
