A 27-year-old Queenstown man filled his Toyota with around
$20 of petrol at Gorge Road Caltex at 5.30pm on Tuesday and
then refused to pay.
Police said he became angry with staff and they indicated
they knew his identity and would be resolving the matter.
• At 5.55pm on Tuesday, police were called to an address at
Marina Dr where a woman had died suddenly.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and the
matter has been referred to the coroner.
• At 2.30am on Wednesday, a 22-year-old New Zealand woman was
arrested and charged after $900 worth of "personal items"
were stolen from an address on Thompson St.
Senior Constable Chris Blackford said the woman was not an
occupant of the house.
She would be appearing in the Queenstown District Court on
November 19.
• At 11pm on Wednesday, police were called to a noise control
dispute at a Frankton address.
It was resolved at the scene and no further police action
would be taken.
