They say never work with children and animals but on Saturday
pupils from Queenstown Primary School volunteered their time
and raised more than $250 in aid of the resort's stray and
rescued cats.
Pupils Thomas Wilson-Mulqueen and Marina Honda (pictured)
helped sell calendars for 2013 featuring cats saved by
Queenstown Cat Rescue, which had been photographed free by
local photographers.
More than $250 was raised from a collection around central
Queenstown and six calendars were sold.
The calendars are for sale from Central Art Gallery,
Remarkable Vets and Black Cat Book Shop for $15.
