Zealand designers who will be represented at the DT Carter
Memorial Hall Fashion Fundraiser in Queenstown Motor Group,
Frankton, on Wednesday, at 7pm.
The fashion parade in the emptied car showroom will feature
eight women from the Queenstown School of Dance and three
men, supported by D'Or Hairstylists and make-up artist Renee
Little. The women will change eight times into garments by
David Pond, Andrea Moore, Verge, Loudmouth and other labels.
Those attending will be offered a glass of wine on arrival.
An auction will be held with luxury accommodation, golf and
clothing packages on the block.
Tickets, of which 200 are available and cost $45 each, must
be bought in advance from DT Carter in Remarkables Park Town
Centre.
Owner Tania Carter said the aim was to raise $10,000 from the
auction and ticket sales towards the $1.3 million Queenstown
Memorial Hall upgrade. About $266,000 still needs to be
raised.
