9.30am-1pm: Remarkables Car Fair, opposite Remarkables Red Barn ($20 for sellers).
11am: Glenorchy Races, Glenorchy Recreation Ground ($15).

Sunday, January 6
Noon-6pm:
Cavells Lazy Sunday, Cavells Cafe & Bar, Arthurs Point, by Shotover Jet.
10am: Race the Train, 5km run/walk or 12km run, Kingston Flyer Railway Station, Kingston (cost varies).

Thursday, January 10
Noon-1.30pm:
Entertainment on the Green, Village Green.10am, 12.30pm, 3pm: Kite Making Workshop, Queenstown Events Centre ($5 - materials provided).

98th annual Lake Hayes A&P Show, Lake Hayes Showgrounds ($10 adults, children free).
