New Zealand's Got Talent winner Clara van Wel will
perform in Gibbston as a special guest when the seventh annual
Classic Hits Winery Tour plays at Waitiri Creek on February 19.
The 15-year-old from Blenheim joins the previously announced
line-up of Fat Freddy's Drop, supergroup Anika Moa, Boh Runga
and Hollie Smith, and the Adults, featuring Jon Toogood
(Shihad) and Julia Deans (Fur Patrol).
The 17-date national tour starts on February 2 at Ascension
Wine Estate, Matakana, and ends on March 3 at Mystery Creek,
Hamilton.
Ms van Wel wowed the show's judges and won the hearts and
votes of the New Zealand public with her original
compositions and poignant performances.
She released her first single, Where Do You Find Love,
in December, which debuted at No 3 on the New Zealand singles
chart and certified gold. She is now recording her debut
album, which will be released in March.
Tickets for all shows can be bought from the winery tour
website and Ticketmaster. One child under 12 will be given
free admittance when accompanied by one adult ticket holder.
