Lakes Environmental is worried face-to-face feedback with
customers is being lost in the digital age, as more
transactions are completed online.
It is inviting people to have a say on the matter at the next
board meeting, on February 28, in Queenstown.
A post about the forum on the company's website says that
while ''much positive feedback'' had been received about the
online moves, ''we also realise that in the hustle and bustle
of electronic communication it is easy to lose the
face-to-face feedback that we previously enjoyed when you
visited our offices more frequently''.
Lakes Environmental was working on ideas to improve its
personal communication. The the public forum was the first of
these and would be introduced this month, the website said.
People are encouraged to contact Lakes Environmental to
arrange a time if they are interested in speaking at the
forum.
