Upgrades to the Glenorchy Hall were signed off by the Queenstown Lakes District Council at its meeting in Wanaka this week.
Up to $26,000 of improvements on the hall's deck, storage shed and kitchen were approved.
The money was carried forward from an earlier toilet upgrade at the hall, which had a budget surplus because only minor work was necessary to replace borer-affected floorboards in the toilets and paint the interior.
