In its first four days of being put online, more than 700
people completed the Queenstown Lakes District Council's
survey about alcohol.
The survey, which opened on October 12 is to gauge public
opinion for a local alcohol policy and will be open until
It includes questions such as, if a one-way door policy was
to be introduced, what time should be set for it.
The council has said it intends to develop a local alcohol
policy, which is allowed for under the recent Sale and Supply
of Liquor Act 2012.
