More than 1000 people took a ride on the Shotover Jet
recently, raising more than $13,000 for the Queenstown Lakes
The final amount raised will be revealed at the Shotover Jet
Christmas Cracker show on December 14, this year being held
at the Queenstown Rec Ground.
Shotover Jet general manager Clark Scott said the locals' day
had been ''outstanding'', with a fantastic atmosphere on the
beach as trips ran all day.
''Shotover Jet is thrilled to be able to support our local
community each year through our locals' day and the Christmas
show, so now we're really looking forward to the new-look
Christmas Cracker,'' Mr Scott said.
