Council publishes gradings

More than 350 restaurants, bars, cafes or takeaway food outlets were graded either excellent or good in the Queenstown Lakes District Council's latest food safety gradings.

The council's regulatory manager, Lee Webster, said no food premises were found to be unacceptable.

A handful received grade C, which is average and one notch above the unacceptable grade of D.

The council has published the gradings on its website as part of a new online database at www. lakesenvironmental.co.nz/regulatory/environmental-health
