KJet's annual locals' day this Saturday will raise money for the Bruce Grant Youth Trust and the Lakeland Christian Camp this year.
The company will offer Wakatipu adults rides for $20 and children between 5 and 15 for $10.
KJet director Shaun Kelly said the company was one of the resort's first adventure activities and the world's first commercial jet-boat company, which the Christian Youth Trust helped establish.
''We strongly value our community roots and this is one day where, thanks to great local support, we can give back to our community.''
A hard-copy bill or payslip with proof of residence is needed to purchase a locals' day ride, by cash only.
