Mountain biking action continues at the Queenstown Bike
Festival this week with dazzling tricks and tests of
endurance to entertain spectators.
The Vertigo Bikes Dirtmasters Downhill takes place in the
Queenstown Bike Park today from 2pm to 4pm and attracts
daredevils of all ages.
The demanding 3km course involves riders dropping down the
stairs on Brecon St.
Slopestyle practice happens throughout tomorrow, at the
Ballarat St car park, then the Devil Burger Airbag Jam
features some of the world's best freestyle riders taking to
the sky off ramps and performing amazing tricks.
Those acrobats on wheels return for Slopestyle at the car
park all day on Thursday.
Friday is dominated by the Torpedo7.com Coronet Enduro, a
race in five timed stages on descending terrain.
The New World Tour de Wakatipu makes a welcome return on
Saturday from Millbrook Resort to Chard Farm.
