Reviews by millions of visitors have made Queenstown the No 1 destination in New Zealand for the third year in a row in the latest Travellers' Choice Destinations Awards by TripAdvisor.
As well as taking the top spot in New Zealand for 2014, the resort was also rated the second-best destination in the South Pacific, after Sydney.
Destination Queenstown chief executive Graham Budd said it was a fantastic achievement for the resort.

The Travellers' Choice Destinations awards honour top travel spots worldwide, based on millions of reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor travellers.
Award winners were determined based on the popularity of destinations, taking into account travellers' favourites and most highly rated places.
