Three Queenstown properties have been named among the best in Australia and New Zealand in HotelsCombined's second annual ''Stellar Stays'' awards.
Millbrook Resort, The Rees Hotel and Luxury Apartments and Queenstown Park Hotel were among the 13 winners selected from hospitality properties across Australia and New Zealand.
The only other winner from New Zealand was The George Christchurch.
The hotel price comparison website singled out the 13 properties in Australia and New Zealand based on strict criteria around ''exceptional guest reviews''.
The properties' environmental, sustainable tourism and community initiatives were also a key aspect and each property had to have received at least three other major awards in the preceding 12 months to be considered.
