An all-out slugfest erupted as the Winter Festival dodgeball
competition descended on Queenstown yesterday afternoon.
Balls were sent rocketing through the air as 32 teams battled
it out in the knockout competition at the specially erected
Earnslaw Park Dodgeball Arena.
Training for the event showed creativity as the teams of four
arrived as weird and wacky characters, including Mexicans,
'80s skiers, ninjas, chefs, fairies and zombies.
Paranormal Propaganda team member Matt Smith said his team's
zombie costumes were meant to cause fear.''

until only two remained.
